Since this line consolidated with Bowen Trailways in 1945 to become Continental Trailways, this piece should date to the 1940's or before. The medal is blank on the back and there are four small holes equidistantly separated leading me to believe that this was attached to perhaps a wood plaque for presentation to employees or others. The medal has TST in an upside-down triangle at the center, with the three States of LA, AS and MS around the triangle. Then it has as legend the full name of the company. Bowen Motor Coach Co./Continental Trailways (CBS) - incorporated 1927 as Lone Star Bus Line (operating in Texas) and Old Spanish Trail Bus Line (operating in New Mexico) consolidated 1937 into Bowen Motor Coach Co., in 1938 joined Trailways under name Bowen Trailways, consolidated 1945 with Tri-State Transit Co. into Continental Bus System, becoming first company to operate under name Continental Trailways, sold 1948 to Transcontinental Bus System/Continental Trailways.
