The fields of this silver piece are fantastically smooth and have a proof-like appearance that really catches the eye.  The devices are crisp, with lots of detail to be found on both Liberty and the American Eagle. The surfaces are pristine. This is an amazing specimen that few other Morgans could hope to match.     The 1886-S Morgan Dollar is exceedingly rare in superb gem-state condition. Presented here is one of only 13 examples to have been certified at  MS66 with NGC. Higher grades from this mintage are virtually impossible to acquire, as NGC has certified ONLY TWO examples in MS67 grade worth over $50,000!
