These commemorative medallions were transit tokens created for the Southern California Rapid Transit District during that year. Each one of the coin like pieces represents one of the 23 athletic sports events and the last a tribute to Los Angeles, the host city of the event. The presentation box is also included. The box has a bit of wear on the corners. All of the tokens are in good condition, with only the swimming event showing a two small spots of wear to the gilded finish. Each measures approximately 1.25" in diameter, and all 24 are included in this listing. Packing and handling is always free.
