Don't Miss these Additional Bonuses - BUY IT NOW! I carefully wrap everything in bubble wrap with paper/styrofoam padding. (They aren't just put in a box with a rubber band around them.) Check Out My Other Listings - Save on Shipping! Sorry, but eBay now requires all payments be made through PayPal so they can charge additional Transaction Fees to sellers, so I can no longer make the offer of Free Shipping to those buyers who pay with check or money order. Since eBay keeps raising their fees, I am forced to increase the Selling & Handling charges, but I will continue to combine all winning items for reduced shipping. Each and every set is in its original U.S. Mint packaging, with all the Info Sheets/Cards or Certificates of Authenticity that were issued. Every set comes with at least 5 coins (Franklin or Kennedy Half, Washington Quarter, Roosevelt Dime, Jefferson Nickel, and Lincoln Cent). In addition, the 1973-1978 sets also contain an Eisenhower Dollar, and the 1979-1981 sets contain a Susan B. Anthony Dollar. From 2000 to present, the Proof Sets have come with a Sacagawea Dollar. From 1956-1965 the coins were sealed inside Pliofilm and placed in an envelope. From 1966 to present, the coins have been sealed inside various types of acrylic/plastic cases and placed in different colors/styles of cardboard boxes. In 1978 the U.S. Mint started striking the Proof coins with a Frosted Cameo finish. 1956 - 1964: These Proof Sets came in manila envelopes. Inside each envelope is a 90% Silver Half, Quarter, and Dime. And a U.S. Mint Info Sheet is enclosed. The 1956-1963 sets came with Franklin Halves. 1964 was the only year the Kennedy Half was produced in 90% Silver in a regular issue Proof Set. The 1956-1958 sets came with the Wheat Ears Cent, the 1959-1964 sets came with the Memorial Cent. All these coins were minted in Philadelphia with no mint mark. 1965 - 1967: There were no Proof Sets made during these years, but the U.S. Mint issued these Special Mint Sets containing carefully selected Prooflike coins. These sets came with the new 40% Silver Kennedy Half and Copper-Nickel Clad Quarter and Dime coins authorized by the Coinage Act of 1965. The 1965 set came in a white envelope, with a U.S. Mint Info Sheet enclosed. In 1966 and 1967, the coins came inside a hard plastic case in a dark blue box (1967 came with a dated sticker on the box). All these coins were minted in San Francisco with no mint mark. 1968 - 1972: These Proof Sets came in blue boxes. The 1968-1970 sets came with the 40% Silver Kennedy Halves. From 1971 to present, the Kennedy Half has been Copper-Nickel Clad like the Quarter and Dime. All regular issue Proof Sets made from 1968 to present have been minted in San Francisco with an 'S' mint mark. 1973 - 1982: These Proof Sets came with the acrylic cases inside different types of plastic display cases/sleeves in black boxes. The 1973-1978 sets came with an Eisenhower Dollar. The 1975 and 1976 sets also came with the commemorative Bicentennial Dollar, Half, and Quarter with the special reverse images. And they had the Bicentennial dates of 1776-1976. (The coins appear the same in both sets, the difference between the two sets is the dates on the Dime, Nickel, and Cent.) The 1979-1981 sets came with a Susan B. Anthony Dollar. And the 1982 set came with a special U.S. Treasury Medallion. 1983: This Proof Set came in a blue box. From 1983 to present, the Cent has been made with Copper-Plated Zinc instead of Copper. 1984 - 1993: These Proof Sets came in purple boxes. The 1986-1989 sets came with a U.S. Mint Info Card. From 1990 to present, Proof Sets have included a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by an official of the U.S. Mint. The process for striking Proof coins was refined and improved during these years. 1994 - 1998: These Proof Sets came in green boxes. These are among the most valuable Proof Sets and are highly sought after by collectors. Reflecting the improvements made by the U.S. Mint, the Proof coins for these years are stunning. SILVER 1992 - 1998: In 1992 the U.S. Mint started making 90% Silver Proof coins again. These Proof Sets came with 5 coins inside an acrylic case in a black box, with a Certificate of Authenticity enclosed. By this time, the U.S. Mint had refined the process for striking Frosted Proof coins. And the coins in these Silver Proof Sets are absolutely beautiful! The United States Mint 50 State Quarters Program began in 1999. A series of 50 Quarter Dollar coins with special designs honoring each state will be produced. Five different designs are being issued each year from 1999 through 2008. The States are being commemorated in the order of their entrance into statehood. The United States Mint Westward Journey Nickel Series ran in 2004 and 2005. The coins in this special program commemorate the Bicentennial of the Louisiana Purchase and the Lewis and Clark Expedition. In 2006, the Return to Monticello Nickel was introduced in the Proof Sets. And in 2007, the United States Mint Presidential $1 Coin Program began. A series of at least 38 $1 coins honoring each of the Nation's Presidents will be produced. Four different Dollars will be issued each year from 2007 through at least 2016. The Presidents are being commemorated in the order in which they served. Each $1 coin bears a portrait of each U.S. President with edge-incused lettering. 1999 - 2008: These Proof Sets came with the coins inside two plastic cases in a blue box (Copper-Nickel Clad coins) or a red box (90% Sliver coins), with a dated Certificate of Authenticity enclosed. One case contains the 5 state Quarters for that year, the other case contains the regular coins for that year. The coins struck for these years are stunning Frosted Cameo Gem Proof coins. These State Quarters Proof Sets are extremely popular, and are going up in price year after year (especially the Silver sets). You will receive a Clad Proof Set AND Silver Proof Set for each of these years. 1999: These Proof Sets include 9 coins. The 1999 sets are scarce because they are being hoarded by collectors. The Silver Proof Set has already appreciated 1000% since it was issued. The first 5 state Quarters were Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, and Connecticut. 2000: These Proof Sets include 10 coins, and is the first year with the Sacagawea Dollar. The 5 state Quarters were Massachusetts, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, and Virginia. 2001: These Proof Sets include 10 coins. The 2001 sets are becoming even scarcer than the 1999 sets. The 5 state Quarters were New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Kentucky. 2002: These Proof Sets include 10 coins. The 5 state Quarters were Tennessee, Ohio, Louisiana, Indiana, and Mississippi. 2003: These Proof sets include 10 coins. The 5 state Quarters were Illinois, Alabama, Maine, Missouri, and Arkansas. 2004: These Proof Sets include 11 coins, with the first two Westward Journey Nickels (Peace Medal and Keelboat). The U.S. Mint stopped production of the 2004 sets unexpectedly, making it the lowest mintage for a regular issue Proof Set since 1960. The 5 state Quarters were Michigan, Florida, Texas, Iowa, and Wisconsin. 2005: These Proof Sets include 11 coins, the next two Westward Journey Nickels (American Bison and Ocean in View), with the special Jefferson portrait on the Nickel. The 2005 sets are already very popular because of the Bison (Buffalo) Nickel. The 5 state Quarters were California, Minnesota, Oregon, Kansas, and West Virginia. 2006: These Proof Sets include 10 coins, with the Return to Monticello Nickel that has the new Jefferson portrait on the obverse. The 5 state Quarters were Nevada, Nebraska, Colorado, North Dakota, and South Dakota. 2007: These Proof Sets include 10 coins. The 5 state Quarters were Montana, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, and Utah. BONUS: 2007 $1 Presidential 4 Coin Proof Set. The first 4 presidents honored were George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison. 2008: These Proof Sets include 14 coins, with the $1 Presidential 4 Coin Proof Set. The next 4 presidents honored were James Monroe, John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson, and Martin Van Buren. The final 5 state Quarters were Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Alaska, and Hawaii. The U.S. Mint is continuously changing their dies and the way they strike the coins (especially Proof coins). And sometimes these changes produce notable differences/changes in coin(s) for a particular year. These become known as regular issue rare/hard to find coins/sets. Over a Dozen Special/Rare/Hard to Find Bonus Items are Included to Complete this ULTIMATE PROOF SET COLLECTION! 1960 Proof Set with the Small Date Cent. In 1960, a very small portion of the Lincoln Cents were stamped with a die punch that created a smaller than normal date. 1964 Proof Set with Heavily Accented Hair on the Kennedy Half. The dies used to strike the first Kennedy Halves had fine detail for the hair, especially along the part in Kennedy's hair and over his ear. They can be clearly identified because the 'I' in LIBERTY was missing the left side of the base of the letter (the serif). 1970 Proof Set with the Small Date Cent. In 1970, a small number of the Lincoln Cents were stamped with a 7 that rode high in the date. (The LIBERTY was also partially filled without much detail.) 1971 - 1974 Eisenhower Silver Proof Dollars. This is a complete set of all four of the 40% Silver Eisenhower Dollars. These coins come sealed in acrylic cases inside their distinctive brown U.S. Mint boxes. (They are known as the 'Brown Box Ikes' for the boxes they came in.) There was also an Uncirculated version of these Silver Dollars known as the 'Blue Envelope Ikes'. The U.S. Mint didn't start including an Eisenhower Dollar in their Mint or Proof Sets until 1973 (and then it was the copper-clad version). The only way to acquire these Eisenhower Silver Dollars was to purchase them separately. The Eisenhower Dollar was the last large-sized Dollar made by the U.S. Mint for circulation. Because they weren't issued for circulation, they were produced in limited quantities. They're not too hard to find, but they are special sets that complete this Ultimate Collection. 1976 Bicentennial 3 Coin Silver Proof Set. This Special Limited edition Set contains a 40% Silver Eisenhower Dollar, Kennedy Half, and Washington Quarter inside plastic lenses. They are in the original styrofoam case and white cardboard sleeve, with the special lens holder and U.S. Mint Info Sheet. These three coins have the special Bicentennial commemorative images on the reverse, and the 1776-1976 dates to honor our nation's 200th Anniversary of Independence. This set is also not very hard to find (although more so in the original styrofoam case and cardboard sleeve), but no Proof Set collection would be complete without it. 1979 Proof Set with Clear S (Type II, Rounded). The punch used for the mintmark had become worn by 1979, so a new one was introduced later in the year. The standard or Type I Proof Sets have a worn or filled 'S'. 1981 Proof Set with Clear S (Type II, Flat). This set is very hard to find with the real Type II Clear S. The new punch introduced in 1979 had begun to wear by 1981, and once again a new one was introduced later in the year. Most people confuse the 1981 Type I First S (which is the same as the 1979 Type II Clear S) with the 1981 Type II Clear S. Red Book doesn't help by labeling the regular 1981 Proof Set as 'Filled S'. (The 1979 Proof Sets had the filled mint marks, the 1981 Proof Sets all have 'clear' mint marks.) Authentic Type II Proof Sets can be identified by noting that the area inside the curves of the 'S' are larger and go all the way to the surface of the coin, while the Type I Proof Sets don't. 1982 Commemorative George Washington Silver Half Dollars. Both the Proof and Uncirculated versions of this first modern commemorative coin are included. These coins were struck to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the birth of George Washington and come in special boxes with the U.S. Mint Info Sheets enclosed. You get the complete packaging as it was originally issued by the U.S. Mint. This was the first commemorative coin issued by the U.S. Mint since 1954, and the first 90% Silver coin produced since 1964. 1999 Susan B. Anthony Proof Dollar. The U.S. Mint didn't include this coin in the 1999 Proof Set, you had to purchase it separately. The coin is sealed in a plastic lens inside a black case, with the Certificate of Authenticity enclosed. This Proof coin was minted in Philadelphia with a 'P' mint mark. And I Always Include Another Bonus Item with Every Collection I Sell as a Thank You Gift! You get all these Proof Sets here in one auction. Whether you are just beginning, or an experienced collector, you can appreciate what is included in this collection. And how much time, effort, and expense can be saved by getting all of these sets in one place at one time. (The shipping alone would cost you hundreds of dollars.) I only put together a few of these Ultimate Collections in the past, but since I have been selling them here on eBay, I have received excellent feedback from the buyers. Since these sets are all in their original U.S. Mint packaging, with many over 50 years old, sometimes there is slight wear on some of the older boxes. I check each set when I first receive them from the U.S. Mint, or another source, to remove any defective sets. I didn't open each set to inspect them all again, but I looked at some of them. The only thing I noticed was some toning in some of the older sets (usually on the Nickels). Since the U.S. Mint doesn't seal their Proof Sets to be airtight, the copper-nickel clad coins usually tend to start toning after 20-25 years. These sets are all in Very Good Condition. I am eBay and PayPal Verified, With Over 4,000 Positive Feedback, so You Can Bid With Confidence! Thank You for Your Interest. Any Questions? Please don't Hesitate to Ask. I only sell on eBay part-time, so I don't have time to answer emails every day. But I will always answer every question or request for more information. Remember that the charges for Selling & Handling includes more than just the shipping expense, it also includes the fees charged by eBay and PayPal. I would like to only charge for shipping, but their Selling and Transaction Fees are too high to absorb (5%-10%). I keep my Selling & Handling charges as low as possible by not including anything for eBay's Listing Fees (which can be over $40.00) or adding anything for packing materials (I recycle materials as much as possible) or for all the time involved to carefully package your item(s) and deliver them to the Post Office. I'm only charging enough for the shipping expenses for this item. (I can't come close to charging their combined selling fees of over $200.) And I will always combine all won items for reduced shipping of 50%! Since this is only a part-time hobby, I usually only ship packages once or twice a week. On Mondays and, if necessary, on Fridays for stragglers and mid-week purchasers. You will receive an email with the shipping date and Delivery Confirmation number when your shipping label is created. I believe using a Delivery Confirmation number helps provide a safe delivery. You can use this number to view your shipment on the USPS website. However, within the USA, they normally only provide delivery information. The status will only be shown as "Electronically Notified by the Shipper" until the package has actually been delivered. (Sometimes it is updated with a "Processed" date and the facility name.) Remember that the Post Office takes 2-9 days to deliver a package, depending on the shipping method. If it has been less than 10 days since your package was shipped, please wait for the Post Office, your item(s) should arrive soon. Sending emails to me won't speed up the delivery process. All items are carefully packaged and shipped with Delivery Confirmation for your safety. Most items are packaged and shipped on the Monday following receipt of your confirmed payment, some larger orders will take more time and I appreciate your patience. The Post Office has never lost a package I have shipped (slow at times, but never lost). Thank You and Good Luck!
