S. Yeoman Red Book, 1st edition, 1st printing' Description You are bidding on a 1st edition, 1st printing of R. S. Yeoman's Red Book from 1947 as indicated by the verbage on page 135 as it relates to the 1903-O Morgan Dollar.  The 1st printing contains the wording, "...which probably accounts for the scarcity of this date.", whereas the 2nd printing specifically mentions the 1903-O.  The book is in good condition as it contains no names or inscriptions and the text is unmarked.  Unfortunately, the book contains a number of flaws.  This copy had previously been sold on ebay, but was returned by the winning bidder in a condition other than when it was sold.  As the photo hopefully indicates, there is a crease on the front cover about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom edge.  There is a smaller, horizontal crease on the back cover just about right in the middle.  There is a 2" cut to the bottom of the spine.  On the inside, the entire length of the front hinge is cracked between the title page and the page showing The Spanish Milled Dollar.  The rear hinge is cracked in the same manner between page 254 and the advertisement for the Whitman coin folders.  Fortunately, the pastedowns and blue endpapers are secure.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.  As I rarely sell on ebay, I do not accept Paypal.  Given the scarcity of this book, I will accept only cashier's checks or money orders.  Shipping will cost $4.00 to be mailed via USPS media mail with delivery confirmation.  If you would like to insure the book, I can do that as well for an additional cost.
