© AP6.0 THE SELLER HAS NOT OBSERVED THIS STOCK CERTIFICATE IN DEALER AUCTION OR SALES CATALOGUES Offered is a 6-7/8 x 10-7/8-inch brown on white stock certificate for less than 100 shares, which was issued by the Lee Rubber and Tire Company. A typical certificate has five ink signatures on its front and back, and a 3/4-inch tall perforated cancel reading on three lines: "CANCELLED/2-11-31/GT Co. This SCARCE certificate has a beautiful vignette of a woman and man leaning against the logo "LRT Corp. The company was incorporated in the State of New York, even though its manufacturing plant was in Conshocken, Pennsylvania. During World War II the firm manufactured a great variety of rubber products for the war effort, namely: aviation, airplane, aircraft, automotive, medical, personal hygiene, engineering, hospital, and health. Some say that the company made tires for the B-17, 24, and 29 bombers. The building and facilities of the firm were eventually sold to the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company circa 1965. Elsewhere on Ebay the Seller offers a green stock certificate issued by the Lee Tire and Rubber Company which for more that 100 shares. Please look at my other items for sale!
