This is a 10 piece $20.00 coin set commerating the 1988 winter olympic games held at Calgary, Canada. Each coin is Individually sealed and displayed in the original case issued by the Royal Canadian mint. The face of each coin displays a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with dates 1985, 1986 and 1987 and on the reverse 10 different Winter Olympic Events all with a date of 1988. The Case is a beautiful Dark Green Velvet Box with clasps on either side and a Royal Canadian Mint disc in the middle of the box. Set comes in original White Box cover with the Winter Olympic Logo on it. There is a Certificate of Authenticity and numbered There is also a small envelope (which I never noticed before) tucked behind the Certificate. Inside the Envelope are several foldout narratives about each of the coins and further states the following: This is to certify that your Calgary 1988 Olympic Winter Games coin is legal tender in Canada and contains one Troy ounce of pure Silver. Signed by the President and Master (I assume President of the Royal Mint and Master Coin Designer) As these are legal tender in Canadian and stamped $20, for a face value of $200 cash.
